Multiplayer:
Increase the time before it becomes possible to do 360 in multiplayer
It is challenging to avoid the fight in the beginning of races but not impossible. There is already a timer and the players need to build up quite a lot of acceleration before being able to do a 360. We think the current timing is the right one. We will keep an eye on it, but this isn’t subject to immediate change.

Remove the time limitation that there is to collect the 10, 20 and 30 cups to obtain the multiplayer pack
We are rebalancing this feature based on player feedback. Stay tuned.

Please change the game so that somebody is landing on another person car, the second always get wrecked
The Asphalt team is working on this, they need tweak some parameters, and do a lot of testing. It will take some time, but this should be improved or even totally fixed in the future. 

Remove TouchDrive from multiplayer
We will not remove TouchDrive from Multiplayer. Each control scheme has its own advantages and disadvantages. For instance, when using TouchDrive, you are pretty much sure that you won’t crash your car against a wall, but you are locked on a trail which reduces your range of actions. This gives a huge advantage to manual control users and it compensates the amount of risks that they are taking. And taking risks leads to victory in Asphalt 9!

Add local multiplayer
We do not plan to add local multiplayer soon. But stay tuned – there may be a surprise opportunity to race against club members in our first update.

Remove the gas system or decrease the refill time
We are constantly keeping a keen eye on the gas system and looking for ways to improve it, but we do not plan to remove it.

Will it be possible to play the game off-line?
Our main focus at the moment is game stability and online security. An off-line mode isn’t in the immediate plan of evolution.

Add the possibility to race against a friend
This is a point we will have to explore in the future. Something similar to this suggestion is more likely to appear within the clubs. Let’s see.^^

Introduce 2 laps or more to multiplayer
It would only make it harder for the players to collect their Multiplayer Packs, but we understand that you want more challenging races in Multiplayer, so there is something that we need to work on. Please stand by.

Add an unranked Multiplayer mode based on class of car
It’s too soon in the game life to commit on developing such a feature. But we’ll keep this suggestion in our backlog.

Club:
Add a club versus club feature
Club vs club is an essential component of our long term plans. However it is too early to commit on anything here at this point. Right now Clubs are mainly a cooperative feature in the game – with the added element of competition brought by the World Club Leaderboards.
Short and mid-term our goal is to expand on the cooperative and player interaction aspects first. We want to first turn Clubs into a solid foundation for player to expand on their garages, train together and help each other. Once we’re confident the community has a strong basis of collaboration, once we see players progress more into the game and gain access to a more powerful arsenal of vehicles – phase 2 of the clubs will begin.

 Add a friendly race option in the club
No spoiler please… :)

Add the option to view the position that your club achieved in previous seasons
GREAT idea. We’ll have to figure out a way to do this in the game user interface (UI) without adding too much clutter. Definitely entering our backlog as a prio.

Add a way to remove the leader of a club if he is inactive, otherwise the clubs are lost
Unfortunately right now the best way to work around this is from within the Club itself. Communicate, ensure that the Club Owner is someone you trust to be there for you. Make sure that each Club has Officers. We’ll figure out a way to improve this in the future but to us it’s very difficult to handle such a situation because of the risk of actually removing active leaders (the game has been out for a too short amount of time to actually drop Club leaders just yet).

Give an additional reward to the first 3 players of a club after the ending of a season
Rewarding the most dedicated and active members of the club is definitely part of our roadmap. VERY GOOD suggestion!

Gameplay:
Make the AI stronger, it tend to run into the player and knock down itself
It’s too soon to engage into an AI rebalance. We need both more feedback AND more data to take decisions on how to adjust the AI in the game.

Add a damage meter for user’s car when in the Escape Mode. Damage would increase with every hit by the cops. Race is lost if this meter fills up.
Interesting idea for a Police mode variation. We’ll take it into account and definitely discuss it. But we cannot commit on this.

Have a mode where you have to use multiple cars (lap 1 with car A , lap 2 with car 2, etc)
Your game mode is quite interesting. We’ll look into it. We have a game mode like this in Asphalt 8 called Tag Race – was that the type of feature you’re thinking about?

Menu & quality of life:
Add the ability to choose the style of music broadcasted during the race.

First – we are so thrilled the music reception has been so positive for Asphalt 9! Thank you for all the feedback on this. Right now we don’t have enough music tracks in the game to equally balance several stations. But we do plan to add more music in the game’s evolution. As soon as we reach a more balanced lineup – we’ll be sure to add this option in the game.

Add a “restart the race” button at the end of the race
We’ll try to have this added in one of our future updates

Add a “refill all cars” button -
Definitely a great idea. We’ll try to add this in a future update. By the way, keep in mind that all cars automatically refill overnight (if you leave the game for 8 hours, all gas is automatically refilled).

Please add a claim all rewards for time limited events
We’ll look into a rewards and time limited events flow improvements in one of our future updates.

Add the possibility to customize the buttons of manual controls
This will be added ASAP! We are very sorry in fact we could not fit this into the worldwide release.

Redesign the cars representation on the mini map, in such way that it become easy to see cars that are right next to the player or right behind him
interesting one - we’ll look into this ASAP.

Add a confirmation button before any expensive purchase (over X amount)
We’ll look into adding this in one of our future updates.

Add an option to display the User interface during the replay? It would help the players to analyses their race.

Please port to Nintendo Switch
We’re so focused on Asphalt 9 mobile/windows now that we cannot yet look at new platforms. We also LOVE playing on the Switch.

Please add cross platform to the game.
If ever we have the ability to do so in the future, we will, but our priority is to offer a stable and secure experience on each platform. For the moment we have no plans to do this.

Can we add a practice mode that does not use any fuel?
 
We understand certain players want to intensively master a car and practice a lot with it to achieve this. However, fuel is a core game mechanic - it gives more value to the garage of players (the more cars the better, so you can play longer jumping from one car to another) and we can’t remove it from the equation like that.  
Despite not being possible to create such a mode right now, we are looking into ways to better balance this system.
 
The fuel system is introduced to prevent players keep using strongest or fastest cars in MP. So why do we have to use fuel in the Events? We already use tickets to play them. Why consumes both fuel and ticket?
 
Fuel is a core game mechanic of the game, also grounded in a real life concept. It would not make sense for your car to not use fuel in certain conditions in real life. Furthermore, fuel is also an interesting element for strategical car usage planning, like keeping a car for multiplayer and another one for time limited events, while a third one for advancing on career.
 
Can you change the car loot on a monthly basis as in like you change the cars from loot for 1 month and then bring back the previous cars back again on the next month ?
 
Daily car loot is a way to make certain cars accessible in a predictable way to new players, once you have acquired them you should be already used to the game mechanics and be able to advance to obtain other cars through other means the game offers. Changing the car rewarded every month would only make a certain car harder to obtain or upgrade, since it would interrupt the blueprints grinding progression every month and ask you to come back the other month to continue it. However, as we see players appreciate this event as a form to obtain cars, we’ll look into ways to make it more interesting once the default cars have been acquired.
 
How about a “Club Battles” mode where 2 clubs match against each other and get rewards for a series of races ?
 
That’s a great idea! This is something we really want to put together in a way that really clicks with the game and our club community for you to enjoy as soon as possible.
 
Can you add private races? You would invite specific people to your room and you race against them it would be really great so Asphalt 9 Youtubers could easily play with subscribers.
 
We just included Club Races in our first update as a way to organize private races. Youtubers creating their own club can invite subscribers and race versus them to stream it to their community. We might find other more ergonomic solutions in the future, but we believe for now this can cover such needs.
 
Can you add some maps from Asphalt 8 - like Sector 8?
 
This is an interesting request, we can always look back at some Asphalt classic tracks from the past, but we really enjoy bringing new content to our community of players. For now we’d like to focus on new maps, but this is something we might consider doing at some point.
 
Can we search for club without having to leave the club first?
 
You have club leaderboards available to consult -  however the list is limited to top 100 clubs that are often fully packed. We are looking into ways to smoothen the clubs browsing & joining experience so it is more friendly to navigate for everyone.
 
Can you add a requirement filter to the clubs? When you put your club as public, you can set what garage level and reputation level they must be to join.
 
The best way to filter out players from joining a club is to set it as “Restricted” so you can receive and filter player Requests to join your club. We don’t discard adding extra club filtering options in the future though, since it could lead to a more comfortable club manager experience.
 
Can we improve the car customization with skirts, front bumpers, rear bumpers, window tints, exhausts, ect. ?
 
We are working to provide better customization options. However dealing with real car exclusive brands makes it a bit complicated to modify their unique cars. It might be very common to customize a street car, but it’s very difficult to customize a Hypercar which already looks unique.
 
Can you add radio system where you can switch the songs?
 
Right now the song list is quite limited, so we don’t see much value in adding a song manual switching system, that would also lead to repetition of the same songs. However we would like to invest further in the game music. The moment we see it growing enough to justify a radio system, we’ll add it.
 
Can you add a mirror to the game UI?
 
We don’t consider a mirror a key element in the Asphalt gameplay. However it’s a nice touch we’d like to include whenever we have enough time and resources to develop that functionality*
 
Could you allow full graphic customization (Draw Distance, Rendering, Lighting, Reflections, Particles, and more)?
 
Unfortunately mobile hardware is very differently optimized compared to standard PCs. On PC there’s more freedom to accommodate specific combinations of effects due to the the infinite hardware configurations available. Mobile devices are less fragmented and allowing users to customize options like on PC will in 99.99% of the cases result in a worse player experience and degraded game performance.
 
Could you please officially release Asphalt 9 in Korea (for Windows Platform)?
 
We are working on it, however due to local special regulations it’s taking longer that we’d like. We’ll announce it once we are able to ship the game there!

Thanks for all the suggestions and questions you have sent to us via the #suggestion channel on Discord and in the Forum.
 
It is great to see your engagement in making Asphalt 9: Legends better and better with every update. As much as we would like to address all your ideas and concerns, we can do only so much - that’s why we have decided that this Q&A will be a bit different than a previous one. 
 
We feel that some topics deserve more in-depth explanations, while others are worth developing into discussions or community polls.
 
Without further ado, here are the official answers!
 
Can you add player statistics to profiles?
We will be reworking the players profiles this year, so improvements will come with time!
 
What about adding a VIP system to Asphalt 9?
VIP system that you know from Asphalt 8 won't be implemented, but we plan adding a system to reward our most engaged users.
 
Could you add more ways to get unleashed cars? 
That’s the deal with unleashed cars, they are exclusive to get, so don’t miss them when they occur! They might come back later on, but they are rare to obtain.
 
Can you add more ways to obtain Blueprints during the Special Events?
We have noticed your critical feedback regarding the Chiron Special Event. In the next Special Event we will offer more chances to obtain the BPs. Stay tuned for more details!
 
Could you add more options to customize the car, as stickers in the back with country flags, decals, plate text or by adding an option to save different custom colors?
Thanks for awesome ideas, we’ll work in the future for more and better customization options for players, however it won’t be possible to keep color presets stored beyond the available ones.
 
Can you add a feature where you can refill ALL of your cars with a touch of a button?
We might consider it, but since cars auto-refill after few hours we don’t see the need for now. In case you didn’t know, all of the cars in your garage will refill if you leave the game for 8 hours.
 
Can you bring Hunted Mode to Events and Multiplayer?
That’s an interesting idea - we might consider it in the future.
 
Can you add Quick solo race?
At the moment we do not have plans to add this mode as you can use the Club Race feature to test your skills.
 
Can you fix the physics?
We often get asked this question, and it is a little too “broad” for us to answer. The word “physics” could refer to a lot of things. Please always give us a bit more context so we can understand what you mean^^. Thanks!
 
In the meantime, if you refer to glitches, then please do not hesitate to show us videos or screenshots of this glitches on the Forum or Discord. We are always fixing these, thanks in advance!
 
If you refer to the feeling you get from driving the cars, please feel free to detail what you would prefer in the Forum or Discord.
 
If you refer to collision issue between cars, please note that this is not a physic issue, but a connection issue:  Connection latency can create weird things during a race, and even if it doesn’t necessarily depends on our servers, nor on the game, we are working on solutions to diminish the impact of unstable connections.
 
What about the other topics: improvements in clubs, Multiplayer etc?

Can you improve the drop rate of Epic Parts in the Epic Part Hunts.We have observed that some players experience a much too long streak of bad luck when it comes to rare drops. But rest assured that we are working to improve this. For example, in one of our upcoming updates, we will introduce a mechanism that will mitigate bad luck.
 
Can you remove the required Rank restrictions? 
Increasing Car Rank is one of the ultimate goals of the game, and one that requires a lot of investment, patience and dedication from our players. To reward the players that manage to increase their Car Rank, we decided to give them exclusive access to some of our most rewarding events. That’s why we have the rank restriction. These events are for these extremely dedicated players.
 
 
Can you increase the maximum number of the members in a Club? 
Right now we are facing a situation where a few Clubs are overcrowded, while many Clubs are half empty. By increasing the membership limit in Clubs, we’d be only widening the current gap. Also, in order to account for more members in a Club, we would need to raise the requirements for unlocking Club Season rewards, and that could prove too demanding or unfair for smaller Clubs.
 
So, while we currently don’t think that bigger Clubs would benefit our players, this is something we will revisit as the game grows.
 
Can you add Leaderboard Rewards to Club Seasons? 
This is certainly an interesting direction to take - we will evaluate and consider it for coming updates.
 
Please add the steering wheel to the controller settings, just like Asphalt 8. 
We found this control scheme was greatly underused in A8 and didn’t work well enough on the phone screens. Since player demands need to be prioritized, we might run a poll to figure out if this is really an important addition compared to other requests.
 
Speaking of Asphalt 8, could you add something similar to the Mastery feature? 
This is another interesting request which we are considering. However, we’d prefer to come up with something unique for Asphalt 9.
 
Can you add a “Ghost Mode” (where cars do not interact/collide with one another)? 
We believe that what makes Asphalt multiplayer fun is driving head-to-head with other players in real time. Adding a ghost mode would be like playing in a ranked solo event with other players’ recorded races. We feel it defeats the purpose of being matched versus real players, therefore it’s not something we would like to prioritize. However it could become part of an experimental multiplayer Season at some point!
 
Can you add each car’s speedometer to replays? 
Replay is designed to help you enjoy the game visuals without the pressure of actually racing, and to help you learn from other players’ driving paths and techniques. We don’t see the need to track each car’s speed at every frame.
 
Would you consider adding a Multiplayer mode without any ramps? 
Ramps are a core part of the Asphalt DNA, although they are optional to take most of the time. We think making a track without ramps would only make the game less fun. Hence, we would need to find a creative context to justify removing ramps from a location, otherwise it’d go against what the game is about.
 
Can you please improve the aerial 360? In A8, once you landed, the car stopped. But in A9, the car’s bounce can cause additional spins, which slow the car down while being less controllable. 
The game’s physics allow for a certain degree of randomness depending on the car, the speed, the landing angle, etc. However, if you are doing an airborne 360, holding the drift button when landing should stop the car from spinning most of the time.
 
Could you please remove AI opponents from leaderboard events? 
AI opponents are part of the Asphalt experience, adding randomness and difficulty so that every race is different, even if you manage to perform identically every time.
 
That said, we are aware of such demands, which is why we create certain events focused purely on competition without AI opponents.
 
Can you re-balance some cars? 
We’ve rebalanced cars in the past and it’s something we plan to keep doing. However, we have to be very careful: making one car too powerful can make several others worse. That is why your input is so valuable to us! We need players to share their experiences and opinions so we know which cars most need adjustments.
 
Can you add more maps? 
Absolutely! You can expect new locations added regularly in the game. Stay alert for official news on this!
 
Can you add 60fps support to all devices? 
We are hard at work to bring 60fps to more and more devices. It takes a lot of dedication from our teams to check that each device performs optimally. It is not only a matter of device power, but also of overheating and battery consumption. We are aiming at high end devices first, and we hope there will be some good news to share soon.

Are there plans to add more stages to the career mode?
Career mode will grow progressively as game receives updates. However we cannot promise this or that amount of seasons per update. This is a part of the game that will grow organically.

Can you add more racing options – like Gate Drift/Infection from Asphalt 8?
New games modes are something that we are definitely considering, however we would prefer to add something fresh that would go in line with Asphalt 9 style.

Would it be possible to add a multiplayer event with no expiration, season with the same rules and the same principle of the multiplayer season seen in Asphalt Xtreme. There would be no prizes or rewards, only points in the standings to determine who is the best driver. Obviously it should be possible to choose any car owned for competitions and the system will match the players according to the degree of the car.
We are experimenting constantly with different multiplayer series. Making them time limited is what allows us to keep evolving them according to community reception. So we don’t feel keeping a permanent season with the same rules and no rewards forever would benefit the game or you, the players.

Can you add a Caribbean track to the club races?
Yes, it will be added at some point in the future.

Can we have MP races with 6 players instead of 8?
Thanks for the suggestion, we could consider having it as one of the MP rules that change with every season, however we don’t plan to change the default number of players. If we would even have to consider this, note that the fewer players there are in the race, the less rating points you can earn.

Could we have separate Multiplayer seasons for Manual and TouchDrive users?
Players should be able to enjoy the game regardless of their control preferences. Locking them out of a part of the content due to their playstyle is not something we consider a priority at the moment.

Could we have an in-game report button for suspicious users?
We are evaluating how to bring this effectively to benefit the community.

Could you add an option to un-kick a kicked Club Member? (explanation - once you kick out a member, it is difficult to get in touch with him if you do not remember his alias).
Our current system does not allow us to trace all ex-club members in the game, neither to get in touch directly with players not in your club. This improvement would be somewhat part of a bigger ecosystem we should have to work on.

In Asphalt 6 and 7, when nitro is full and ready for adrenaline, the bar is purple. A9 shockwave is similar to Adrenaline. Couldn't this feature be added as well?
(“It happens frequently in the heat of a race that one misjudges that small unnoticeable flashing animation and tries to shockwave with 99% nitro”).

Thank you for the suggestion, we are discussing this with the team and will consider making it more visible in the future.

Why we don’t have a 60 FPS on the device that is same/more powerful?
As you know, Asphalt 9: Legends is a fast phasing arcade racing game and running a game on the device at 60 fps isn’t a simple thing. All devices go through the extensive test where you have to make sure that it should not only maintain such high frame-rates for a number of races, but also have to keep in mind a lot of other factors like overhearing, the capacity of the battery, screen resolution, and performance on each of the existing tracks. However, we will keep investigating and work towards optimization to make sure that we would be able to include more devices in the future.
